about

sunhouse craft sets a high standard of both craftsmanship and sustainability. with their hyper-local approach to material sourcing, they’re working to rebuild long-broken supply chains across the southeast while keeping a small footprint. they’ve simultaneously infused a contemporary aesthetic into the age-old appalachian craft tradition, extending this legacy to a broader audience.

at the core of this work is art direction for product photography, staged with the most local materials possible. even the radishes came from the farmers’ market down the road.

packaging, like their products, is sourced as locally as possible and with the most sustainable materials available. even the production was completed no farther than a state away from their shop. the messaging that wraps the exterior was designed to highlight their connection to the land through craft.

pin-mounted exterior signage and window graphics frame the entry of their restored historic storefront.
